KVH announces the newest, smallest antenna in its line of Inmarsat FleetBroadband satellite communications systems
MIDDLETOWN, R.I., May 5 -- Today at the 2009 Offshore Technology Conference in Houston, TX, KVH Industries, Inc., (NASDAQ: KVHI) introduced its compact and affordable new TracPhone(R) FB150 maritime satellite communications system. At just 10.5" in diameter and 12" high, the TracPhone FB150 antenna is the smallest in KVH's complete line of Inmarsat FleetBroadband-compatible TracPhone systems, perfect for boats as small as 40 feet.
The fully stabilized TracPhone FB150 will offer IP data connections up to 150 Kbps and simultaneous voice and SMS service, all via Inmarsat's trusted FleetBroadband network, in a compact and affordable package for leisure and commercial vessels, fishing boats, and small government vessels. Using the brand-new Inmarsat I4 satellite constellation, the TracPhone FB150 will provide many years of reliable service to vessel owners around the globe.
