Offered as Intel® Q45 chipset-based platform, MI950 supports Intel® Core(TM)2 processors in LGA775 package and Intel® 45 nm multi-core processors with up to 800, 1,066, or 1,333 FSB. Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 4500 provides dual independent display support, while connectivity is provided via USB 2.0, serial, SATA II, PCI, eSATA, and single or dual GbE LAN interfaces. Board also supports, optionally, Intel AMT, which lets IT discover, heal, and protect networked computing assets.
IBASE Reveals Intel Q45-based MI950 Mini-ITX Motherboard with Intel AMT (Active Management Technology) Support
Taipei, Taiwan, April 30, 2009 - IBASE Technology Inc. (TASDAQ: 8050), a leading manufacturer of industrial motherboard and embedded systems, has released the MI950 Mini-ITX motherboard. It supports the latest Intel® Core(TM)2 processors in LGA775 package and the next generation Intel® 45nm Multi-Core processors with up to 1333 FSB (Front Side Bus). Supporting two DDR3 memory slots, this Intel® Q45 chipset-based platform delivers scalable systems with innovative capabilities for high-end gaming, digital signage, traditional industrial control and automation, POS and kiosk applications.
The MI950 motherboard comes with the Intel® Graphics Media Accelerator 4500 (Intel® GMA 4500) that implement high-resolution dual independent displays (CRT + DVI outputs). Advanced versatile I/O ports are provided by two USB 2.0 ports, four serial ports, four SATA II ports and an eSATA interface designed for use with external SATA devices. Other important features on board include a single or dual Gigabit Ethernet LAN, high definition audio and a watchdog timer. Optionally supported is the Intel® Active Management Technology (Intel® AMT), which allows IT to better discover, heal, and protect their networked computing assets.
