Model GAO243003 rugged handheld computer is RFID-enabled multifunctional system offered in 4 different models, including 13.56 MHz RFID reader/writer. It also provides audio feedback, color display with touchscreen, Bluetooth, and barcode scanning. Contained in case molded from ABS/Polycarbonate blend plastic, unit is resistant to chemicals and is IP65 rated. Device also offers 128 MB SRAM, 128 MB Flash, and SD card slot and can include 26- or 41-key alpha-numeric keypad.

Rugged Handheld Mobile Computer with HF RFID Reader
Toronto, Canada - GAO RFID Inc. (www.GAORFID.com) has rolled out its rugged handheld Mobile Computer with HF RFID Reader (GAO243003). This RFID-enabled multi-functional mobile computing device is widely used in the warehouse, on the manufacturing line, or anywhere asset tracking is required. The compact and light weight reader is an ideal tool for workforce deployment.
GAO offers four different models including a 13.56MHz, high frequency RFID reader/writer: Each model provides audio feedback, a color display with touch screen, Bluetooth, barcode scanning, and RFID capabilities.
Aside from being an RFID reader, this powerful mobile computer features 128MB SRAM, 128MB internal FLASH, as well as, a user accessible SD card slot for additional mass storage. It is equipped with either a 26 key or a 41 key alpha-numeric keypad and can be further optionally tailored to a specific application.
The case is molded from an ABS/Polycarbonate blend plastic offering extreme resilience to environmental stresses, as well as to a wide variety of chemical substances and the unit is IP65 rated for protection against dust and water.
