New Moyno® High Temperature Down-Hole Pump Solutions Extend the Application Range of Progressing Cavity Pumps

Willis, Texas - R&M Energy Systems launched a new line of Moyno High Temperature Down-Hole Pump Solutions. The Moyno high temperature down-hole pumps, designated Moyno HTD(TM) pumps, provide unique solutions to high temperature applications that previously prevented operators from using downhole progressing cavity pumps (PCPs).

After extensive research and development as well as thorough in-field application testing, one of the products R&M Energy Systems' launched was the Moyno® HTD350 Down-Hole Pump. This product has an elastomeric stator that is mechanically secured to the stator tube for greater temperature and chemical resistance.

The Moyno HTD350(TM) High Temperature Down-Hole Pumps feature:
  • The capability of handling downhole temperatures to 350° F
  • A patented design that mechanically secures the stator elastomer without using any bonding agent between the elastomer and the stator tube
  • Compatibility with steam injection applications without removing the stator from the well

    Models available include:
  • 95 BFPD per 100 rpm and up to 6,000 foot lift
  • 275 BFPD per 100 rpm and up to 5,400 foot lift
  • 500 BFPD per 100 rpm and up to 4,000 foot lift

R&M Energy Systems, part of the Fluids Management Group of Robbins & Myers, Inc., manufactures and markets a wide variety of products for use in the discovery and recovery segments of the oil and gas industry.
