CAMPBELL, Calif., April 29 -- 6Connex, a wholly owned subsidiary of Design Reactor, announced its latest release of the Virtual Experience Platform v3.5. The Virtual Experience Platform enables businesses and individuals to connect and engage anytime and anywhere using a dimensional environment-like architecture that can be utilized for virtual tradeshows, events or conferences, and beyond.
Version 3.5 of the Virtual Experience Platform continues to deliver as a virtual technology social engagement platform with the addition of four new, unique features that enhance a social networking event experience:
-- Industry-Leading, Real-Time Chat Language Translator for Tailored International Communications: Not only does the 6Connex Live Chat System increase the average attendee interaction by almost 2000% in comparison to that of other virtual event technology providers, but now event attendees from all over the world can receive tailored chat communications with Real-Time Chat Language Translator functionality. As event attendees select the localized event they want to experience, they can also receive real-time, translated communications in any of 41 languages--in both single and double-byte formats--while chatting one-to-one or in a group chat environment. This unique functionality not only enables immediate interaction among attendees chatting in different languages, but fosters global relationships among diverse event attendees separated by geography and language.
-- Avatars and Photos to Create a Personalized Experience: To create a more personalized social networking experience, event attendees can select from a library of over 250 avatars or upload their own image/photo when participating in a 6Connex virtual event or tradeshow as they establish their personal profile either during registration or within the event.
-- Optional Video and Audio Chat Functionality: Event attendees have the option to communicate through video or audio chat. When an event participant is using the one-to-one chat environment, they now have the ability to turn on their webcam and microphone and communicate via video chat or pure audio chat. This new feature provides another option that helps to create a more personal event experience.
-- Blogs and Forums Managed by Event Organizers: Event managers and organizers have the ability to set up topical-driven blogs or forums throughout a virtual event or tradeshow to promote marketing topics and ideas while increasing event participant engagement. Having the ability to offer blogs or forums gives the event organizers more marketing promotions channels to involve event participants and create communities around topics, opinions, and ideas.
