Micro Twinax Quick Disconnects come in straight, right-angle, cable-mount, and in-series between adaptor terminations. Featuring .250 in. max diameter, they are applicable for High-Speed Ethernet (100 and 1000 Base-T), Fibre Channel (over 1 Gbps min), IEEE 1394 Firewire, USB, DVI, and Infiniband applications with 100 or 150 Ohm differential impedance. Each has unmated 3 lb max engagement force and 3-5 lb max disengagement force for high-vibration applications.

Sabritec Introduces Quick Disconnect Micro Twinax Connector Series
Sabritec, a custom connecting devices manufacturer, today announces the launch of their new Micro Twinax Quick Disconnect NDL Size Connectors. These connectors complement the existing threaded version and come in straight, right angle, cable mount and in-series between adaptor terminations.
The Micro Twinax Quick Disconnect line replaces the standard NDL Triax connector series for higher speed balanced Twinax applications and are applicable for High-Speed Ethernet (100 and 1000 Base-T), Fibre Channel (>1 GBit/sec min.), IEEE 1394 Firewire, USB, DVI and Infiniband applications with 100 or 150 Ohm differential impedance. These connectors are 25% smaller than a standard SMA coax connector with a .250" maximum diameter and feature an unmated three pound maximum engagement force and three to five pound maximum disengagement force for high vibration applications.
The full line of Micro Twinax connectors include threaded NDL, Quick Disconnect NDL, SMA and Micro-D size packages. Both threaded and quick disconnect series have matched impedance miniaturized footprints that provide the user with controlled impedance and tightly spaced PCB footprint spacing (outer conductor spacing of 0.100").
