Tire Pressure Monitoring System promotes trike safety.

April 24, 2009 - Helping to prevent instability, limited traction, and catastrophic failure risks posed by under-inflated tires on motorcycles and trikes, 360M3(TM) continuously reads tire pressure data from valve stem-mounted sensors and wirelessly transmits it to LCD monitor. Visual and audible alarms are triggered at 12.5% and 25% below programmed baseline tire pressure to make rider aware of problem in real-time. Also, FastLeak(TM) alarm activates upon 2.8 psi drop in less than 12 sec.

Doran Introduces the New 360M3(TM) Tire Pressure Monitoring System for Trikes

Cincinnati, OH - Doran Manufacturing, LLC is pleased to announce the introduction and availability of their new 360M3(TM) tire pressure monitoring system for trikes. The new product is the latest addition to the Doran 360(TM) series of tire pressure monitoring systems. It is designed to continuously read the tire pressure data from valve-stem mounted sensors and wirelessly transmit it to an easy-to-read LCD monitor. When a low-tire pressure occurs, visual and audible alarms are triggered to make the rider aware of the problem in real-time. "This is an example of truly customer-focused product development, says Sales Manager Lee Demis. "Due to the performance and popularity for our Doran 360M(TM) system for motorcycles, we had a number of riders ask us to create a system for their trikes and we listened. The 360M3(TM) includes all of the features of the original 360M(TM) system (reliable and accurate performance, simple programming and installation and multiple mounting options) and it allows the growing number of trike riders to enjoy the benefits of a tire pressure monitoring system." This unique system allows riders to easily and accurately monitor the pressure in their tires. Under inflated tires have decreased stability, limited traction and increased risk of catastrophic failure. Low tire pressure or flat tires can leave riders stranded or cause serious accidents. The patent-pending Doran 360M(TM) has multiple alerts that are triggered at 12.5% and 25% below the programmed baseline tire pressure and a patent-pending FastLeak(TM) alarm that is activated with a 2.8psi drop in less than 12 seconds which warns the rider to take care of the issue before it becomes a problem. The multiple alerts provide peace-of-mind for the safety of riders, passengers and others, making it ideal for motorcycles and trikes. A set of unique patent-pending valve stems come with system to allow the sensors to be installed inside or outside the rim. External installation is accomplished by simply replacing the standard valve stem caps with the Doran 360M(TM) sensors, then installing the display per the users' preference.

Cincinnati based Doran Manufacturing has been a leading safety products manufacturer for over 35 years. In addition to tire pressure monitoring systems, they supply incandescent Exterior Light Monitors, Sleeping Child Check Monitors, Emergency Exit Monitors and a full range of LED lighting products for the school bus market.
