5500S Side Pan Feeder Hopper - ADI Offers Solution for Feeding Small Parts to Vibratory Feeders

Erie, Pa. - Automation Devices, Inc. (ADI) has just released the new 5500S Pan Feeder Hopper that can provide a controlled delivery of parts into small vibratory feeder bowls.

Featuring a ¼ cubic foot capacity, this design fulfills the need to automatically keep small feeder bowls filled to a controlled level. Kevin Smith, President of ADI says the size of this hopper is a great remedy to alternative hoppers that are often too large for smaller feeder bowls. "The 5500S Hopper can be available in stainless steel and can also be coated with different materials such as epoxy and urethanes," says Smith. "The standard finish is a hammer tone silver."

The 5500S Hopper can operate on 115v or 220, 60Hz or 50Hz. A level control switch can be provided that will turn the unit off and on to provide a predetermined level of parts in the feeder bowl. The unit is fully adjustable in discharge height from 5 inches to 11 inches. The discharge tray overhangs the unit by 5 ¾ inches. The hopper can be easily mounted to a base plate using the provided mounting holes.

Automation Devices Inc. produces a full line of tooled and untooled vibratory feeders and components. They are located in Fairview, Pa. They can be contacted at 814-474-5561 or view ADI products at www.autodev.com.
