Designed for GSM/UMTS Gateway family, multiACCESS Board holds 4 GSM/UMTS modules, with 1 SIM card associated per channel. Standard use of equipment allows client to interface with PSTN traditional network through E1 interface to IP networks, providing direct routing between IP, digital, analog, and GSM networks. TOPEX multiACCESS GSM Gateway Increases the Call Capacity up to 64 Voice Channels
TOPEX, a European telecom equipment manufacturer and NGN solution provider, has released a new version for its GSM boards launching the 4 channels board designed for its GSM/UMTS Gateway family.
The new board holds 4 GSM/UMTS modules, with 1 SIM card associated per each channel. In this way, the call capacity of GSM/UMTS Gateway family is doubled, the multiACCESS equipment reaching up to 64 simultaneous calls and the Qutex equipment up to 20.
With the new release TOPEX GSM/UMTS Gateways family keeps the same features and services; renowned for its powerful SIP&H323 protocols stack, LCR module, SS7 platform, Call Back, Auto Clip Routing and CDR features.
The standard use of the equipments allows the client to interface the PSTN traditional network through E1 interface to IP networks providing direct routing between IP, digital, analog and GSM networks.
Its main functionality is to interconnect VoIP & PSTN networks with all kind of GSM networks with benefits like Least Cost Routing. It's a great solution for large companies with high voice traffic to GSM networks, Call Centers or alternative carriers.
