3-Prong Western Style Elevator Bolt Specifically Designed for Smaller Bucket Elevators

Maryland Heights, MO, April 9, 2009 - Therm-O Plastic Suppliers, Inc. (T.O.P.S), a leading supplier of elevator bolts and elevator buckets to the industrial and agricultural industries, is pleased to announce the introduction of the 3-Prong Western Style Elevator Bolt to the U.S. market. This bolt is specifically targeted for use with smaller bucket elevators, which have smaller head pulleys and thinner belts than their larger counterparts.

The new bolt employs three less aggressive small prongs under the small diameter flat head, which allows it to seat on and firmly grip thin belts, providing an improved, more appropriate alternative to the larger fanged-style elevator bolt we also offer. The bolts are made in carbon steel, stainless steel and are offered in four sizes, ¼" x 1", 1/4" x 1-1/4", 5/16" x 1-1/4", and 5/16" x 1-1/2" to meet a variety of needs.

"We were the first ones to stock the 3-Prong Western Style as an alternative to the Fanged bolt in the U.S., specifically designed to meet the needs of small bucket elevators," stated Michael Clubb, Executive Vice President at T.O.P.S. Inc. "Before offering this bolt, the only gripping bolt option would have been the fanged style bolt with large head and aggressive teeth. This bolt will prove useful to OEM'S and Bucket Elevator Managers, and it can also be used anywhere else a flat head bolt is needed to help grip into flat material."
