Greener Than Green: Eco-Green® Cleaning Chemicals from Daimer Industries Set a New Cleaning Industry Standard

Products among the first to offer cleaning professionals superior biodegradability and effectiveness.

WOBURN, MA - March 31, 2009 - With the pro-environmental focus of the incoming Obama administration, using 'green' cleaning products could become more than just a good idea -- it could become the law. To this end, Daimer Industries, a leading manufacturer and distributor of commercial cleaning products, announced Eco-Green®, the first line of truly eco-friendly cleaning chemicals.

"With the increased knowledge and awareness of the dangers associated with commercial and industrial chemical preparations, it has become essential for virtually every industry to seek environmentally-friendly alternatives," said Eco-Green® spokesperson Matthew Baratta. "Daimer's Eco-Green® line was designed to set a new green standard for the cleaning industry. Our product lineup eliminates the negative environmental impacts, health risks and liability associated with the use of traditional chemical preparations. And they're effective on tough stains and dirt."

More than 80,000 chemicals, most of them harmful, are used in common cleaning solutions. Many of the products that are promoted as 'green' actually contain potentially dangerous ingredients, such as: volatile organic compounds (VOCs), chlorine, benzene, triclosan, nonylphenol and nonylphenol ethoxylates, alkylphenolethoxylates (APEs), synthetics, terpenes, petroleum distillates, glycol ethers, caustics, builders and reagents.

Daimer's Eco-Green® line includes more than 100 products and formulations. Derived from plants and vegetables without any ozone-depleting substances, synthetics or VOCs, Eco-Green® products have been certified as Readily Biodegradable. The chemical formulas biodegrade by more than 90% within 28 days, or about 50% faster than most competitors, according to testing performed by an internationally known laboratory. Eco-Green® chemicals are also safe to use as evidenced by all zero values on the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) hazard diamond.

Moreover, Eco-Green® products are effective because they feature Daimer's unique Micro-Blasting® technology, which uses nano-based particles, 1/80,000 the thickness of human hair. The small size allows the nano-molecules to pierce the carbon bonds of stains and buildup. This action breaks unwanted substances into billions of tiny particles that disperse in water and repel one another. As a result, the particles are easy to remove and less likely to re-adhere to cleaned surfaces.

Daimer's extensive Eco-Green® line of green cleaning chemicals offers solutions for a variety of cleaning needs and includes: Adhesive & Ink Remover, Carpet Care, Tile & Grout Cleaner, Multi-Purpose Hard Surface Cleaner, Deodorizer & Cleaner, Concrete Cleaner with Rust Stain Remover, Grease Trap Degreaser & Treatment, Commercial Drain Opener & Cleaner, Graffiti Remover, Floor Finish Stripper & Emulsifier, Ultra-Power® Super Duty Degreaser, Upholstery Cleaner, as well as many other formulas for the cleaning industry.

Industrial and commercial users of cleaning chemicals that would like to reduce the costs associated with hazardous material disposal, the regulatory compliance associated with certain "traditional" cleaning products and the liability associated with the use of toxic/harmful substances can learn more about Eco-Green® products online at http://www.daimer.com. Questions and requests for additional information can be directed to Matthew Baratta by calling (888)507-2220.
