Fiber Optic Digital Video Transceiver Module Series Launched by GAO

Toronto, Canada-GAO Comm(www.GAOComm.com) recommends this series of fiber optic digital video transceiver modules, specially designed to support transmission of video over one optical fiber. The series is widely used in closed-circuit TV monitoring systems and intelligent transportation systems. These transceivers ensure proper system operation in complex electromagnetic environments. This series of transceiver modules contains the following models: GFS102, GFS103, GFS106, GFS110, GFS111, GFS116, GFS118, GFS122, GFS124 and GFS128.

Each member of the digital video transceiver module family incorporates an indicator LED for monitoring of system operations. They use 10-bit/20MHz sampling technology for video digital encoding and are compatible with NTSC, PAL and SECAM video formats. The transceivers require no electrical and optical adjustments in-field operation, are hot-pluggable, have a wide dynamic range and provide convenient installation, maintenance and operation. In addition, the transceivers are available in either stand-alone or rack mount card versions.
