ARO-Flo Series Clears the Air for Any Tool and Any Application
BRYAN, Ohio - March 16, 2009 - The ARO Fluid Technologies business of Ingersoll Rand is releasing an expanded and improved ARO-Flo Series of filters, regulators and lubricators to clean and lubricate air for use with pneumatic tools. The upgraded line includes a new size and a new completely modular design.
The enhanced ARO-Flo products come in four series, varying in port size and maximum standard cubic feet per minute (scfm) for optimal fit to the application and tools used.
o Miniature 1000 Series with 1/8" and 1/4" ports, and a maximum flow of 57 scfm
o All-new Compact 1500 Series with 1/4" and 3/8" ports, and a maximum flow of 109 scfm
o Standard 2000 Series with 3/8", 1/2", and 3/4" ports, and a maximum flow of 222 scfm
o Heavy-Duty 3000 Series with 3/4" and 1" ports, and a maximum flow of 381 scfm
Key advantages of the upgraded ARO-Flo products are optimal performance and improved safety. The new modular design provides for easier assembly and maintenance of the units from the previous models and allows for more customization to meet specifications of various applications. T-brackets and panel nuts, which had been optional, are now standard.
A unique new feature with the new series is the integral gauge fan. This adjustable, easy-to-follow visual display allows the operator to quickly monitor that the pressure stays within the targeted range.
Several safety features have been implemented into the modular design of all ARO-Flo filters, regulators and lubricators. Most notably is the positive-locking thumb switch on all polycarbonate filter bowls. The lock engages and disengages manually with an audible click to ensure it is securely in place.
The ARO-Flo Series has a full line of accessories available that promote a safer working environment. A check valve prevents pressure backflow, a slow-start valve allows pressure to build gradually upon system start-up, and a lock-out valve allows the operator to manually close off the downstream air when maintenance is required. Other accessories include a pressure switch, manifold block kit and refurbishing kits. Rounding out the complete offering of ARO filter, regulator and lubricator products are the current super-duty series and specialty precision regulators.
The ARO-Flo Series will be available to authorized Ingersoll Rand ARO distributors on March 16, 2009. For more information on the ARO-Flo series or other ARO products from Ingersoll Rand, visit www.fluids.ingersollrand.com.
