Ultra High Temperature Vibration Measurement System

Chatsworth, CA - March 20, 2009 - Dytran Instruments, Inc. is pleased to announce the release of a unique high temperature vibration monitoring system, model 5334. This unit consists of a high temperature charge mode accelerometer and an in-line miniature differential charge amplifier which operates from a constant current 2-wire (IEPE) power unit.

The configuration is known as a hybrid system because it combines a differential charge mode accelerometer with IEPE technology. The accelerometer and charge amplifier are permanently joined together as a single unit with the interconnecting hard line cable permanently connected.

The accelerometer is connected to the input of the charge amplifier via an 18 inch long hard line cable (SIO2 insulated) which is unaffected by the high temperature at the measurement point.

Model 5334 features a case isolated design to avoid annoying ground loops and hermetic sealing for normal operation in moist and dirty environments. It has an industry standard 3-bolt mount, stainless steel construction, and utilizes ultra high temperature piezoelectric crystals in compression mode which allow it to operate at
temperatures up to +900°F.

This vibration measurement system is ideal for ultra high temperature applications including aircraft turbine measurements, industrial turbine measurements and general purpose vibration under high temperatures. To learn more about model 5334, please contact us at info@dytran.com. Priced at $2,150.
