Powered by 1.33 or 1.6 GHz IntelŽ Atom(TM) processor with 533 MHz FSB, IB883 is 3.5 in. disk-size SBC that integrates IntelŽ US15W XL system controller hub with IntelŽ GMA500 graphics engine and DDR2 SO-DIMM socket (2 GB max). Board's 3D-capable IntelŽ GMA500 graphics engine supports DirectX 9.0E and OpenGL 2.0, and video display interface is either via DVI connector or single 24-bit LVDS connector. Additional connectivity is fostered via gigabit LAN, DIO, USB 2.0, and serial ports.

IBASE Reveals Intel Atom-Based IB888 3.5-inch SBC with Intel SCH US15W XL Chipset
Taipei, Taiwan, March 13, 2009 - IBASE Technology (TASDAQ: 8050), a leading manufacturer of single board computers reveals the IB883 3.5-inch Disk-Size SBC. Designed for low power and mobile applications, the IBASE IB888 3.5-inch sized single board computer is powered by 1.33GHz or 1.6GHz IntelŽ Atom(TM) processors that uses 533MHz FSB. The board integrates IntelŽ US15W XL system controller hub with IntelŽ GMA500 graphics engine and a DDR2 SO-DIMM socket supporting a maximum memory capacity of 2GB.
The 3D-capable IntelŽ GMA500 graphics engine supports DirectX 9.0E and OpenGL 2.0. Video display interface is either via a DVI connector on the board edge or a single 24-bit LVDS connector. The IB888 offers features and high-speed connectivity for professional applications including one gigabit LAN, watchdog timer, digital I/O, six USB 2.0 ports and four serial ports.
