Akron, NY -- LVD Strippit introduces the PPS Series of cost effective press brakes ideal for general bending requirements.
The PPS press brake offers the precision and reliability of LVD bending technology in a value-minded package. Available in six models from 50 to 200 tons and bend lengths from 78" (2000 mm) to 157" (4000 mm), the PPS press brake is offered in manual and CNC configurations with a CNC touch screen control.
The PPS machine, like all LVD press brakes up to 200 tons, is designed and built using a welded one-piece frame, machined without repositioning and stress relieved to serve as a solid foundation for the mounting of all precision components
Hydraulic cylinders are machined from a solid steel billet. Pistons are steel forgings, precision ground and micro-polished for years of trouble-free service. The PPS hydraulic system is fully servo-controlled using state-of-the-art hydraulics and electronics to ensure perfect control of the bending process.
The touch screen control employs the same reliable infrared screen technology used on several LVD products. A Linux operating system ensures high stability. Easy to use software developed by LVD allows for fast and simple programming with minimal training. The software is ideal for quick programming of simple parts and is suitable for all levels of users. Data can be saved to a USB memory storage device.
The PPS features a powered X-axis back gauge with a manual R-axis. A powered R-axis back gauge is optional. Other options include a manual adjustable crowning table, Lazer Safe guarding system, and a choice of tooling styles.
