These USB programming cards-one available for each meter-provide users with an efficient, cost-effective way to connect CUB5 and PAX meters to almost any computer, with no serial converters or other external devices needed. With this plug-and-play usability, USB option cards facilitate panel meter programming utilizing Red Lion's free Crimson® software, allowing operators to set parameters, download configurations to panel meters and save program files on the computer for future reference.
By eliminating the need for serial-to-USB converters, CUB5 and PAX USB cards reduce programming time and hassle while saving labor and equipment costs. The cards can be purchased individually, requiring a user-supplied USB cord for operation, or users can select either a CUB5 or PAX programming kit. These kits include the respective USB option card, a USB connecting cable and the latest version of Crimson software.
