Constructed with 316 SS body and trim, 17-4 PH stem, and glass-filled Teflon packing, High Pressure Needle Valves operate at working pressures to 60,000 psi in temperatures from -100 to 450°F. Units feature female H/P Cone and Thread connection, non-rotating stem to prevent galling and scoring, Vee or Regulating tip stem, and 6 body styles to accommodate variety of applications. Gland locking device prevents loosening of packing gland to minimize leakage potential.
New Needle Valves Engineered for High Pressure, Extreme Temperature Operation
ERIE, PA - Innovative Pressure Technologies (IPT) introduces High Pressure Needle Valves. These valves feature a non-rotating stem to prevent galling and scoring, and are engineered to deliver reliable operation at working pressures up to 60,000 psi in temperatures ranging from -100° to 450°F (-73° to 232°C). They feature a Vee or Regulating tip stem and six body styles to accommodate a wide variety of applications. Typical applications include general plant service, instrument isolation, hydraulics, pneumatics, pressure measurement devices and venting, among others.
High pressure needle valves feature a gland locking device prevents loosening of the packing gland to minimize leakage potential. They have integral through holes for bracket mounting as standard, with a panel mounting option also available. The end connection is female H/P Cone and Thread. Typical materials of construction are a 316 Stainless Steel body and trim with 17-4 PH stem and glass-filled Teflon packing, with other materials available upon request.
