March 4, 2009 - Facilitating in-vehicle communication and control, Model TREQ-M4 utilizes Windows® Embedded CE v6.0 operating system and features 4.3 in., 480 x 272 pixel color TFT LCD with resistive touch screen. Terminal includes 2 serial ports, 2 USB 1.1 full-speed host ports, 10/100Base-T wired Ethernet, and 4-key lighted elastomeric keypad. Bluetooth, magnetic card reader, and additional USB host port are available as optional features.

TREQ-M4 - QSI's New Compact and Economical Rugged Mobile Data Terminal


SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH. 25 February 2009 -- QSI Corporation is proud to announce the TREQ-M4, the newest addition to the TREQ line of rugged mobile data terminals. The TREQ-M4 is loaded with the features needed for in-vehicle communication and control. The rugged design, compact housing and affordable price make the TREQ-M4 ideal for vehicle-mount applications.

"The market needed a powerful mobile data terminal at a low cost," said Karen Stanley, Director of Sales at QSI Corporation. "The compact TREQ-M4 is priced economically and packed with the features and robust design our customers are requesting."

The TREQ-M4 offers a Windows® Embedded CE 6.0 operating system allowing for fast application design and integration. The display is a bright 480 x 272 pixel color TFT LCD, 109 mm (4.3") diagonal with a resistive touch screen. Additional standard features include two serial ports, two USB 1.1 full speed host ports, 10/100Base-T wired Ethernet and a 4-key lighted elastomeric keypad. Bluetooth, a magnetic card reader and an additional USB host port are available as optional features.

TREQ-M4 developer's kits are now available.

The TREQ-M4 will be displayed at the CeBIT 2009 expo in Hannover, Germany, 3-8 March 2009.
