Azima DLI Releases the Rugged DCA-60 Vibration Data Collector for Advanced Machine Condition Monitoring

Wireless Vibration Analysis Tool Features New Multimedia and Increased Data Storage Capabilities to Allow Reliability Professionals to Make Well-Informed Maintenance Decisions from the Field

WOBURN, Mass. - February 23, 2009 - Global condition monitoring services company Azima DLI today announced the release of the new DCA-60(TM) vibration data collector and real-time analyzer. The DCA-60 is specifically designed to meet the needs of today's reliability professional with advanced features currently unmatched in the industry. Designed for use in the field at plants and other industrial sites, the rugged DCA-60 allows plant technicians to collect vibration data and diagnose machine faults on site or seamlessly transmit its data via the Internet to Azima DLI expert analysts as part of a WATCHMAN Analysis(TM) program.

The DCA-60 enables four-channel simultaneous vibration data collection with new capabilities including wireless connectivity, multimedia, 80 GB of data storage and compatibility with Windows applications.

Azima DLI will be demonstrating the DCA-60 in booth #315 at RCM-2009, the Reliability Centered Maintenance Managers' Forum, to be held at the Hilton in Daytona Beach, Florida on March 23-26, 2009.

The DCA-60 also features onboard ALERT(TM) machine vibration analysis software, which includes advanced diagnostic tools commonly found in high end reliability systems, such as harmonic and sideband cursors, spectral overlays, zooming, waterfalls and more to aid your vibration analysis. Diagnose machine faults with Cepstral plots, orbits, demodulated vibration spectrum, time synchronous averaging, Bode plots and comparisons to machine baseline spectral data. DCA-60's triaxial, simultaneous data collection combined with Azima DLI's field-proven methodology allows reliability professionals to collect more accurate and repeatable data in less time. The fast triaxial data collection capability allows engineers to collect a suite of measurements in just one click while helping them to perform complete machine condition analysis, including bearing fault detection using demodulation.

"The DCA-60 is the latest enhancement to Azima DLI's extensive line of services and products designed specifically to help reliability professionals be more accurate and more efficient with machine health analysis and diagnosis, which helps streamline and improve plant operations," said Jonathan Hakim, president, Azima DLI. "By integrating wireless connectivity into the new DCA-60, reliability professionals have direct and instant access to Azima DLI's expert staff of engineers, a benefit that other vibration data collectors simply cannot offer."

Engineers utilizing the DCA-60 have instant access to Azima DLI's bench of experts through integration with the WATCHMAN Reliability Portal(TM), which allows Azima DLI to analyze data remotely. Plant managers can then access results and alerts through the portal's dashboard that features up-to-date information about equipment condition and the status of ongoing monitoring programs.

To learn more about Azima DLI's DCA-60 a product sheet is available for download at: http://www.azimadli.com/dca60 or stop by booth #315 at RCM to view a product demonstration.
