Lift Trucks feature Cummins turbo diesel engine.


March 2, 2009 - Equipped with pneumatic tires, Veracitor(TM) Big Truck Model GP170VX features 17,000 lb capacity at 24 in. load center, while Model GP175VX features 17,500 lb rating at 36 in. load center, and Model GP190VX is rated 19,000 lb at 24 in. load center. Powered by 110 hp Cummins QSB 3.3 turbo diesel engine, trucks include oil-cooled wet disc brakes, AccuTouch mini-levers, and Techtronix 332 transmission, which provides 3 speeds forward and 2 speeds in reverse.

Yale Materials Handling Corporation Introduces New Model in its Veracitor(TM) Big Truck Family


Fills Important Gap in Class V Model Lineup

GREENVILLE, NC, January 12, 2009 - Yale Materials Handling Corporation, a long-standing leader in the materials handling industry, is introducing an entirely new model line in its Class V pneumatic lineup. These new capacities are an extension of the Veracitor(TM) Big Truck GP135-155VX series. The new models are:

o GP170VX (rated 17,000 lbs. @ 24" load center)

o GP175VX (rated 17,500 lbs. @ 36" load center)

o GP190VX (rated 19,000 lbs. @ 24" load center)

These trucks feature the following premium components as standard equipment:

o 110 HP Cummins QSB 3.3 turbo diesel engine

o Techtronix 332 Transmission

o Oil-cooled Wet Disc Brakes

o New Liftek-Elecar Mast option

o AccuTouch Mini-Levers

o Full Suspension Vinyl Seat

"The Veracitor(TM) GP170-190VX truck is designed to meet and exceed our customers' material handling application requirements with excellent performance and low hourly cost of operation," said Don Chance, President, Yale Materials Handling Corporation. "This series will provide Yale with competitive models for the right customer applications."

The YaleŽ Veracitor(TM) Cummins QSB 3.3 Turbocharged Diesel Engine features legendary Cummins reliability and Tier III emissions compliance. In addition, the engine features exceptionally low noise levels, forged steel crankshaft, camshaft and piston rods, and oil-cooled forged aluminum pistons. The standard Techtronix 332 transmission features three speeds forward and two speeds in reverse for increased gradeability and drawbar pull while allowing top travel speeds for maximum productivity.
