Available with 5 mm pitch, Models LX20 and LX26 feature travel rates of 250 mm/s, and include low dust raise grease, which significantly minimizes particle generation. Models come in standard or cover type with brackets that allow combination of 2 units on different axis. With 1,000 possible configurations, actuators can provide precision linear motion to packaging, medical, semiconductor, automotive, and other automated assembly operations.
Misumi Expands Features of Its Popular Line of Single-Axis Actuators
NEW FEATURES FOR LX MODEL NOW AVAILABLE
Misumi USA, Inc., a subsidiary of Misumi Corporation, part of Misumi Group, Inc. (TYO: 9962) announces the availability of new features for its popular line of single-axis actuators. The new features include ballscrew lead options and low dust raise grease on all LX models. Misumi single-axis actuators have numerous applications in providing precision linear motion to packaging, medical, semiconductor, automotive and other automated assembly operations.
The LX20 and LX26 single-axis actuators are now available with a 5mm pitch. This larger pitch will allow for faster travel. Previously, for example, at 3000RPM the LX20 would travel at 50mm/s. Now with a 5mm pitch, the rate of travel is 250mm/s, an increase of 400%. In addition, a new low dust raise grease (LG2) option is now available for all LX Actuators. The LG2 grease significantly reduces particle generation compared to normal grease.
Misumi's LX Series models are available in 1000 possible configurations, up from 200 in the original series. The LX single-axis series is available in standard or cover type and the actuators are available with brackets that allow a combination of two units on a different axis.
