Deep Cut Band Saws offer cutting speeds up to 420 sfpm.


March 9, 2009 - Equipped with 10.5 A motor, Deep Cut Band Saws offer cutting capacity of 4 7/8 in. round and 4 7/8 x 4 7/8 in. rectangular. Main handle includes 2-finger trigger, which allows for accurate speed adjustments when starting and completing cut. Front T-handle design provides multiple grip options for optimized control in any application.

Milwaukee® Introduces New Deep Cut Band Saws


02/18/2009 MILWAUKEE, WI - Milwaukee Electric Tool Corporation introduces four new Deep Cut Band Saws that deliver industry leading performance, durability, and productivity. The new band saws deliver on the heritage of long-term reliability and performance that make Milwaukee Band Saws the standard in industrial metalworking. "The new Milwaukee® Band Saws will once again set the industry standard for performance," says Melissa Marineau, Group Product Manager of Corded Tools. "With a 10.5 Amp motor and 420 SFPM cutting speed, the new deep cut band saws deliver up to 40% faster cuts compared to previous models."

To provide better control and ultimately more accurate cuts, the main handle has been redesigned and includes a two-finger trigger which allows for accurate speed adjustments when starting and completing the cut. The updated front T-Handle design provides multiple grip options for increased control in any application. These features, and many others, provide the user improved saw balance, cut accuracy and overall productivity.

The new Milwaukee® band saws have 80% service part compatibility with previous models for ease of service. Interchangeable parts include the front handle, pulley shrouds, pulleys, pulley tires, bearing blocks and rear blade guard. Milwaukee's commitment to best-in-class durability is backed by a Milwaukee® Heavy-Duty 5-year warranty.
