Targeting professional applications, 800 MHz Model KNG P800 features 512 channels and up to 32 zones. It offers customized keypad, multi-line display, and menu-driven programming with over-the-air rekeying and cloning. Like its sister VHF and UHF products, the P150 and the P400, introduced in 2008, the KNG P800 is designed with the demanding needs of professional applications in mind, providing customers with compact, lightweight radios that are feature-rich and offer class-A performance specifications.
In addition to its performance, the KNG-P800 is among the smallest professional-grade 800MHz portable P25 digital radios in the market. More efficient power consumption gives the KNG P800 an uninterrupted duty cycle of up to 18 hours -- significantly longer than similarly featured competitive models. The entire KNG series will be upgradeable to P25 Trunking.
