Available in ¾ and 1 in. square versions, THINBIT® 45° GROOVE 'N TURN® toolholders are intended for making undercuts and thread reliefs at 45° angle. They may be used on conventional, Swiss, and CNC machines for grooving inserts in sizes from .004-.155 in. Inserts are available in 3 grades of material: D2 for steels, D5 for non-ferrous, and HSS. TiN, TiCN, TiAlN are also available, as are selection of radius and special configurations.
THINBIT®, manufactured by Kaiser Tool Company, announces an expansion to its selection of 45° GROOVE 'N TURN® toolholders. The new holder is available in 3/4" and 1" square and is used for making undercuts and thread reliefs at a 45° angle.
Toolholders can be used on conventional, Swiss and CNC machines for grooving inserts in sizes from .004" to .155".
