Propane Connector accelerates filling of ACME cylinders.

February 19, 2009 - Featuring 1¾ in. ACME connector design, FasFuel connectors uses SlideMate technology to facilitate and accelerate connections for 33 and 43 lb motor fuel/forklift and bulk bobtail tank filling applications. Full-flow design ensures maximum flow rate while in operation, and internal shut-off valve minimizes propane vented into atmosphere (less than 4 cc) upon disconnect. Stainless steel parts and components withstand adverse weather conditions.

Propane Connector Fills ACME Cylinders Faster with Full-Flow Design

Minneapolis, MN-January 28, 2009-FasTest introduces FasFuel propane connectors, designed to maximize propane cylinder filling. The ACME-style connector uses SlideMate technology to facilitate quick connections for 33 and 43 lb. motor fuel/forklift and bulk bobtail tank filling applications. FasFuel also features a full-flow design to ensure maximum flow rate while in operation. Upon disconnect, the connector's internal shut-off valve minimizes the amount of propane venting into the atmosphere (less than 4cc). Stainless steel parts and components optimize connector performance in adverse weather conditions.

FasFuel connectors offer the simplest operation in the industry, with a 1-3/4" ACME connector design that easily slides over the valve threads. To connect, users merely push the actuator sleeve forward onto the valve threads. The unique SlideMate sleeve-actuated gripping design ensures a safe and secure valve connection that minimizes accidental disconnection and ensures operator safety. To disconnect after the cylinder filling cycle is complete, users simply pull back on the actuator sleeve. A video demonstrating this connector in action is available at www.fastestinc.com.

FasTest's new propane connector series also includes Overfill Protection Device (OPD) cylinder-style and CGA 510 (POL) versions for filling large 100 and 200 lb. cylinders. All three offer fast, easy and environmentally safe connections for the rapidly growing propane industry. The ACME and OPD designs are patent-pending and UL Listed to U.S. and Canadian safety standards.

FasTest is dedicated manufacturer of productivity and high quality improvement connection tools for pressure and vacuum testing applications. FasTest's complete line of specialty connectors are designed to provide leak-tight, reliable connections for industrial manufacturing applications. Custom leak test capabilities are available for unusual or unique requirements.
