February 17, 2009 - With maximum operating temperature of 1,800°, Salt Bath Furnaces provide air/oxygen-free medium for heating steels. Models 183 and 185 feature 10 in. and 12 in. diameter pot, respectively, and can process 25-45 lb of steel or alloy. Both are suited for natural hardening, carburizing, nitriding, stress relieving, annealing, and tempering.

o Now available to manufacturers and heat treaters a salt bath furnace with max operating temperature to 1,800 degrees. Our furnances provide an air/oxygen-free medium for heating steels. With features that include applications for natural hardening, carburizing, nitriding, stress relieving, annealing and tempering. Model No. 183 furnace with 10"diameter pot or No. 184 furnace with 12" diameter pot process range 25 to 45lbs of steel or alloy, 600 pot is also available.
