KESTRAL long-range, ultra-low-light color camera system incorporates 0.0009 lux Hitachi KP-DE500 CCD camera and Fujinon D60 long-range lens with 2x doubler. System provides optics in excess of 500 mm and allows detection of people over 2 miles away. Contained in EMX-designed IP67 pressurized housing with sun shade, it is available with or without EMX-designed pan/tilt positioner.
EMX Introduces Long Range, Ultra Low Light, CCD System
MELBOURNE, Fla., February 13, 2009 - EMX announced the introduction of its "KESTRAL" long range, ultra low light, color camera system.
The "KESTRAL" incorporates an ultra low light level Hitachi KP-DE500 (0.0009 lx) CCD Camera and a Fujinon D60 long range lens with a 2X doubler. The combination equates to optics in excess of 500 mm and allows detection of people in excess of 2 miles. The package is housed in an EMX-designed IP-67 pressurized Housing with Sun Shade and is available with, or without, an EMX-designed pan/tilt positioner.
