Static Neutralizing Systems suit hazardous locations.

February 11, 2009 - Intended for printing and coating processes, ION POWER(TM) HL-Type Static Neutralizers feature 8200 MANAGER Master Controller, which can monitor and control up to 9 static neutralizing stations. Controller uses 2-wire RS-485 bus to communicate with all 8155 POWER MODULES on network, and can display performance and diagnostic parameters for each system. Rated for Class I, Div 1 and 2 and Group D areas, neutralizers control static charges over range of 8 in. and at web speeds over 2,000 fpm.

Single Module Controls up to Nine Static Neutralizers in Hazardous Locations

The new plug & play HL-Type Intelligent Static Neutralizers for hazardous location printing and coating deliver integrated communication, and real-time charge monitoring for multiple static neutralizers

(Andover, Mass.) - The new ION POWER(TM) HL-Type static neutralizing systems for hazardous locations feature the 8200 MANAGER Master Controller that brings an enhanced level of systems integration to the most sophisticated printing and coating
processes.

A single 8200 MANAGER can be used to monitor and control up to nine static neutralizing stations, making it the most economical system for these critical static
control applications. Using a two-wire RS-485 bus to communicate with all 8155 POWER MODULES on the network, the 8200 MANAGER displays the performance and diagnostic parameters for each individual system, including ion output and neutralizing current values, as well as "Clean Bar" and "Fault" alarms.

Now, control over a multi-station system is quickly simplified with the ability to turn on or off individual neutralizers, scan and view individual station performance and set clean bar alarm values for each station - all from the convenience of the intelligent interface of the 8200 MANAGER.

MKS ION Industrial's 8001HL static neutralizing bars rated for Class I, Division 1 and 2 and Group D areas feature tungsten electrodes for maximum longevity and ion output. The new ION POWER HL-Type neutralizers build on the patented Virtual AC(TM) ionization technology and can effectively control static charges over a range of 8 inches and at web speeds of over 2,000 fpm.
