Wahl® Introduces Two New High Accuracy RTD Thermometers
Asheville, NC - February 4, 2008 - Wahl Instruments, Inc. is proud to announce the Wahl® DST500 Temperature Indicator, and the DSX500 Transmitter Thermometers. These New Digital RTD thermometers are wide range, high accuracy thermometers designed for many applications where accurate and reliable temperature monitoring and transmitting are critical.
Both the Wahl DST500 and the DSX500 offer the highest precision temperature measurement technology - making them a great choice for your processing needs. They feature a 1" high LCD display - readable from 30 feet away! Available in a variety of standard and custom built probe configurations including MIG standard tapered bulb for drop-in direct MIG replacement. Unique Quick Disconnect option allows the user to remove the probe and meter for calibration without removing the permanently installed cable. The Adjustable Angle probe option allows easy adjustment of the display for the best viewing option. Special configurations can be supplied for tight fit installations. Total system accuracy is ±0.3°F (±0.2°C) over a 1-year period, temperature range is -328° to 1472°F (-200° to 800°C).
The DST500 includes a field replaceable battery with a 2 year operational life. The Wahl DSX500 is loop powered from an integral, 4-20 mA transmitter, for reliable data transmission. Both thermometers are factory configurable to your specification, or user configurable with the optional DSTPROG software kit.
The Wahl DST500 and DSX500 are shipped standard with NIST Traceable Certificate of Calibration to establish your documentation requirements, and carry a two-year warranty on parts and labor. Optional software kits are available for programming and calibration.
