Wildeck Demonstrates New Knock-Down Stairs

Economical and modular design allows easy job-site assembly and installation in virtually any facility, including those where space is tight.

Waukesha, WI - January 12, 2009, Wildeck, Inc. - In addition to its high quality lineup of welded OSHA and IBC code-compliant stairs - offered with a Wildeck mezzanine or as a separate stair structure for a wide range of applications - Wildeck demonstrated an economical and modular Knock-Down Stair system in its booth #1224 at the ProMat Expo.

Wildeck's new Knock-Down Stair system can be easily assembled on the job site and installed in virtually any facility, including those where space is limited.

According to Hubert Schlegel, Director of Marketing for Wildeck, Inc., "We are extremely excited to offer a modular knock-down stair that provides the installation flexibility and access many customers require. With more than 30-years experience manufacturing the highest quality mezzanines and steel structures for material storage, lifting, and guarding, we are confident that Wildeck's KD Stairs will become the quality and value leader among all other modular stair designs."

Wildeck will continue to provide the industry's best welded stair structures where the ultimate in strength and rigidity are required. The new modular Knock-Down Stairs will give Wildeck Dealers more installation options and applications to pursue.

Wildeck Knock-Down Stairs are available in 1/8 inch increments from 3 ft. to 12 ft. in height and can provide safe and convenient access to elevated Platforms and Mezzanines, to Rack and Shelving systems where space is limited, and for incorporation into Pick Modules.

The standard configuration provides a 36-inch wide stair tread and a Closed Tread/Open Riser design that is IBC code-compliant and meets OSHA safety standards. The standard color is Wildeck Gray and special colors are available for a nominal additional charge.

Wildeck's traditional top-of-stair and intermediate platforms can also be added to meet specific stair system requirements.
