Designed for environmental protection and control, Model EPC-2374 digitally monitors and processes ambient temperature, humidity, external RTD temperatures, and dewpoint. Six modes of operation include trip above, trip below, inside window, outside window, regulate heat, and regulate cool. In addition, unit records time and date formatted history and event logs. Configurable data logging mode allows any monitored input to be recorded and captured to PC with import-ready data file.

Microteknix announces the addition of several operating modes to its EPC-2374 environmental protection and control relay for vast protection & control applications.
Pottstown, PA, Jan 22, 2008 - Microteknix solves the need for a wide range of environmental protection and control applications with the addition of operating modes to the EPC-2374. With a broad range of customer requirements, the EPC-2374 can be configured for one of many specific applications.
Ambient temperature, humidity, external RTD temperatures and dewpoint are digitally monitored and processed. Trip thresholds may be configured for absolute setpoints as well as window of range. For customers requiring strict temperature or humidity regulation, the unit may be placed into regulation mode. The six modes of operation are:
- Trip above (threshold above a temperature or humidity setpoint)
- Trip below (threshold below a temperature or humidity setpoint)
- Inside window (protect or control inside a window of range)
- Outside window (protect or control outside a window of range)
- Regulate heat (regulate heat setpoint or humidity)
- Regulate cool (regulate cool setpoint or humidity)
The EPC-2374 is well known for its capability of logically controlled outputs. The built in logic engine allows the user to configure an output on the customers specific logic. The logic engine supports up to four nested levels of user created logic, allowing for a flexible number of applications. In addition to its protection and control functions, the unit records time and date formatted history and event logs. A configurable data logging mode allows for any monitored input to be recorded and captured to a PC with an import-ready data file. Fail-safe outputs, configurable hysteresis and a power fail output provides a reliable and flexible solution.
