Emerald CX Gloves: KevlarŽ/Stainless Steel Composite String Knit with PU coating

ACTON, Ontario (January 2009) - Gloves made from composite yarns are the most cut-resistant gloves available today. They do more than protect your hands from cut and abrasion: these are gloves you can move your hand comfortably in, and Superior's very own Emerald CX series is no exception. An engineered blend of KevlarŽ, stainless steel, and high-strength synthetic yarns, they provide an impressive amount of abrasion and cut resistance. Our unique spinning process allows the incorporation of a stainless-steel wirecore that will not pop through to the wearer's hand, thereby increasing comfort and life of the glove.

Our new S13CXPU gloves are exceptionally comfortable and dexterous, with an impressive cut-protection rating of CE cut-level 5/ASTM cut-level 4. Grey polyurethane palm coating provides excellent grip, with a super-low particulate shed that makes them ideal where product contamination is an issue. In laboratory cut-testing trials, they withstood 1700 grams of force. To put it another way, you'd have to wear ten heavyweight leather gloves to match the cut resistance of Emerald CX! Our range of sizes includes extra-large too.

With this kind of performance, you might expect to pay a lot more for a glove offering this much, but Superior Emerald CX is where value meets performance.

Available in two styles: S13CXPU palm coated, sizes 6 - 12; and S13CX with uncoated palms, sizes 6 - 12.

Other styles in Superior's Emerald CX series: SCXLX latex wrinkle-grip palm; SCXNT oil-resistant nitrile palms; SKWCP blended with polyester; SKWCPLP leather wraparound palm ; SKWCP35, 35 grams/pr ; SKWCPLTC with split-leather thumb patch; SCXLP Action(TM) leather wraparound palm.
