Thermal stability and UV resistance make them suited for harsh and high temperature applications. With Shore hardness ratings from 25-80 and resistance to compression, aging, and ozone, lenses are compliant with aircraft and automotive quality and environmental standards. They are available installed on LEDs or can be molded to custom configurations.

Custom Silicone Lenses for Unique LED Applications


PACOIMA, CA (January, 2009) -- JKL now offers custom silicone lenses for unique LED applications. Used with standard or high power LEDs, these lenses are able to focus, shape, or confine light output for exacting design criteria.

Superior thermal stability and UV resistance make them ideal for harsh and high temperature applications. Operating temperatures up to 180°C exceeds the values for normal LED specifications.

Shore hardness ratings available from 25-80, with good electrical properties, resistance to compression, aging, ozone and ultraviolet light, makes them compliant with rigid aircraft and automotive quality and environmental standards. These filters are available installed on high quality LEDs, both surface mount and radial types or can be molded to custom configurations for installation on your designs.
