Lifting Arm facilitates intelligent operation.

January 22, 2009 - Suited for localized lifting and precision placement applications, Easy Arm® integrates G-Force® Q and iQ lifting technology as well as processor-controlled servo-drive system into articulating jib design. It acts as extension of operator's arm and can lift any weight within 165 or 330 lb capacity range. Since actuator is mounted on pivot, arm is lightweight and easy to move. Self-contained unit comes pre-assembled with spans up to 14 ft.

Gorbel Rolls Out New Easy Arm® Design: Bigger Capacities, Longer Spans, More Intelligence

Gorbel Inc. is pleased to introduce their newly redesigned Easy Arm® Q/iQ Intelligent Lifting Arm. The Easy Arm® integrates our patented G-Force® Q and iQ lifting technology and processor controlled servo-drive system into an articulating jib design.

Patented Lifting Technology
The Q/iQ Easy Arm(TM) delivers pinpoint precision in a wide range of speeds, making it perfect for precision placement applications. It acts like an extension of the operator's arm, guided by their intelligence but taking on the bulk of the work. Plus, it can lift any weight within the capacity range without the delay you experience with an air balancer.

More Capacities, Longer Spans, Greater Flexibility The new Easy Arm® design comes in 165 lb (75 kg) and 330 lb (150 kg) capacities. The previous Easy Arm® design was only available in 150 lbs. In addition, the design has spans up to 14', where the previous design only had standard spans to 10'. Another key part of the redesign is that the new Easy Arm® is available as a Q, which is the base model, or an iQ, the more advanced unit that comes standard with added programmability for increased flexibility.

Versatile Lifting Design
o Cost Effective - Easy Arm(TM) is more cost effective than adding a work station bridge crane.

o Easy Installation - The Easy Arm(TM) is delivered pre-assembled. To install, simply bolt it to any 6" reinforced floor. Raise the arm, adjust using a leveling bolt and apply power. You're up and running in no time.

o Easy to Move - Easy Arm(TM) is a self-contained unit. That means operators don't have the added physical strain of moving a complete bridge and/or trolley. Plus, the actuator is mounted on the pivot, not on the arm, making the arm lightweight and easy to move.

Ideal For Localized Lifting in Applications Such As:
o Loading/unloading machined parts
o Reaching into a work cell or around obstructions
o Moving products around a work cell
o Precision placement of expensive products
