LB24 products are compact, efficient, long-life illumination sources that produce high-quality, daylight-appearing light for delivery via small-diameter fiber bundles. Welch Allyn will feature LB24 illuminators at Photonics West 2009 booth #6904 from January 27-29 in San Jose, California.

The LB24 industrial series is intended for OEM system integration such as lighting for borescopes, fiberscopes and microscopes and can be operated in portable applications using low-voltage battery packs.

They also feature an internal thermal cutout, double insulation, low electrical noise, full-off light attenuation and a medical-grade UV/IR optical filter.
