Laird Technologies Introduces New EMI SENTRY(TM) Product Family

Top-of-the-Line, Form-In-Place Products Offer High Quality, Excellent Reliability, and Rapid Curing

St. Louis, Missouri, USA - January 15, 2009 - Laird Technologies, Inc., a global leader in the design and manufacture of customized, performance-critical components and systems for wireless and advanced electronics, today announced its new family of Form-In-Place gaskets: EMI SENTRY(TM).

The new EMI SENTRY product line consists of four specially-designed, silicone-based pastes for dispensing onto a substrate:
o SNK55-RXP is a silicone with silver/copper that cures at room temperature;
o SNK60-HXP consists of silicone with silver/copper that cures in an oven;
o SNL60-RXP is a silicone with silver/aluminum that cures at room temperature; and
o SNL70-HXP consists of a silicone with silver/aluminum that cures in an oven.

Laird Technologies' EMI SENTRY family raises the bar on the industry's standard Form-In-Place EMI shielding. This top-of-the-line product family offers adhesion strength equal to or better than legacy Form-in-Place products and offers excellent reliability with a low compression set, as well as heat and humidity resistance. This improved reliability increases the durability and longevity of customer assemblies.

The extremely fast handling rate increases customer productivity, while the increased softness offers the economic advantage of volume dispensing. The EMI SENTRY family is ideal for handset, base station, military, and consumer electronics markets.

"The EMI SENTRY product family raises the industry standard for Form-In-Place products," said Scott Stephan, Laird Technologies EMI Product Director. "These products provide excellent reliability and rapid handling, which is great news for customers seeking a top-of-the-line product solution."
