ELB Electronics Introduces Dimming Ballast

ARCADIA, Calif. - ELB Electronics, a global manufacturer of fluorescent electronic ballasts, has introduced the ELB Plus Dimming Ballast for T8 linear fluorescent applications.

The ELB Plus T8 32W dimming ballasts, which are available in 2 or 3 lamp models, provide continuous light level dimming between 100-10% and allow facility managers the opportunity to set the ballast maximum and minimum light level output. This can typically provide incremental energy savings of up to 25 percent depending on the application. The ballasts meet new energy efficiency codes required for project LEED-certification.

The products - compatible with existing 0-10V control devices such as occupancy sensors, manual control switches, daylight sensors, etc. - comply with ASHRAE 90.1 requirements for load reduction and are covered under a five-year industry standard product warranty. They are ideal for retrofit or new construction and no field programming is required. ELB is committed to offering the dimming ballast at an affordable price to assist end users in maximizing the return on their investment.
The ELB Plus is equipped with built-in line voltage protection and the 0-10V control can be wired as a Class 1 or Class 2 circuit. The ELB Plus meets ANSI standards C82.11-1993 and CD82.41-1991 and is UL-listed.
