MRS Sigma: the Next Generation Miniature Linear Guide
PBC Linear has expanded the Mini-Rail(TM) product line by adding the MRS Sigma miniature linear guides. Providing smooth and quiet operation, the self lubricating sigma shaped Simplicity® polymer inserts provide years of trouble free service without the need of seals and wipers.
Hostile environments, clean rooms, and wash-down resistance make MRS Sigma an ideal solution for medical, packaging and semiconductor applications. The LazerStraight(TM) sigma shaped ceramic coated aluminum alloy rail is available to 5 meters and the die-cast streamlined carriage provide a low cost, simple, green alternative to conventional ball and roller type linear guides and bearings. The flat bottomed rail and a keyed carriage-available in three colors-help to make installation simple while the sigma shape improves accuracy and prevents carriage/rail drift; providing extra stability.
MRS Sigma is another example of PBC Linear applying innovative thinking to develop low cost solutions to a multitude of different linear motion applications.
