Planalytics and Supplemental Software Solutions Announce 'Plug In' Weather Optimization Solution for Retailers



NEW YORK, Jan. 12 -- Planalytics Inc. and Supplemental Software Solutions announced today, from the National Retail Federation's (NRF) Annual Convention in New York, a new demand shaping solution that enables companies to account for weather's impact on sales for specific products. The new Weather Optimization solution makes it easy for retailers to integrate Planalytics' location- and product-specific weather intelligence with data from existing operational systems. Planalytics' intelligence quantifies weather-related demand changes for specific products and locations, indicating if demand will be affected positively or negatively compared to the same time period a year ago.
