Sealed Air's Fill-Air® Cyclone(TM) Inflatable Packaging System Proves Good Things Come in Small Packages

SADDLE BROOK, N.J. (Nov. 9, 2008) - The compact Fill-Air® Cyclone(TM) inflatable
packaging system from Sealed Air Corporation is the newest addition to the Fill-Air® line of voidfill inflatable packaging systems. Ideal for decentralized packaging operations, the Fill-Air® Cyclone(TM) system instantaneously delivers air-filled bags at the high-speed production rates of the successful Fill-Air® 2000 on-line system, but within a minimal footprint.

Small enough to sit on a table top, the Fill-Air® Cyclone(TM) system's simple design is easy to maintain and operate. The system can be loaded with Fill-Air® Select film and ready to work within seconds. In addition, its size allows it to be delivered via UPS.
Useful for both on-line and off-line void-fill, the system processes converted film at a rate of 65 feet per minute. The Fill-Air® Cyclone(TM) system creates bags in up to eight different sizes, with the largest measuring 14 inches by 8 inches. The system also features a sensor which monitors the level of inflated bags in an accumulation bin, eliminating the need for an operator to continually press the 'Start' button to create more bags as the bin empties. This sensor also can be configured so that a wave of the hand will signal the system to produce a pre-determined length of inflated voidfill bags.

"The Fill-Air® Cyclone(TM) system meets the needs of many customers in a multiple pack
station environment," said Sealed Air business manager Dave Weiss. "The system's small size and speed make inflatable void-fill an attractive option for decentralized packaging operations as well as on-line operations."

Additionally, Sealed Air's Fill-Air® film is now printed with recycling information that informs end-users on how to recycle the product.
