January 7, 2009 - Available in 1¼, 1½, and 2 in. sizes, Challenger(TM) Bimetal Bandsaw Blades are constructed using PTP(TM) Technology, which ensures optimized performance during production cutting. Sawing applications include structural shapes, as well as thick wall and thin wall tubing made of carbon and alloy steels being cut as single, layers, and bundles. Both standard and heavy set blades are available.

New Challenger(TM) Bandsaw Blades at M. K. Morse Company


CANTON, OH (December 19, 2008) -- Challenger(TM) is the trademarked name for the new M. K. Morse bimetal structural band saw blade. Challenger blades are constructed using PTP(TM) Technology. PTP is a new proprietary process ensuring the optimized performance during production cutting of structural shapes and tubing. PTP's proprietary process in combination with its specialized tooth geometry provides dramatic increase in fatigue resistance and tooth durability when cutting structural shapes and tubing.

The new 1-1/4" (34mm), 1-1/2" (41mm) and 2" (54mm), Challenger blades offer consistent cutting performance in a wide range of structural materials. Sawing applications include structural shapes, thick wall and thin wall tubing of carbon and alloy steels being cut as single, layers and bundles. Challenger is available with both standard and heavy set.
