Handheld Pulse/Pattern Generator produces ultra-low jitter.


January 6, 2009 - Generating data signals up to 1.5 GHz, Model SK-1500ULJ features rms jitter of less than 0.5 ps, suited for low-noise reference clocks. Unit offers 5-digit frequency resolution, 180 ps rise/fall time, and amplitude range of 100 mV to 3 V, as well as touch-screen control interface and built-in PRBS or customer data patterns. Frequency range is 2 MHz to 1.5 GHz.

Ultra-Low Jitter, Handheld Pulse Pattern Generator


Simptronik's SK-1500ULJ pulse/pattern generator generates ultra-low jitter digital clock and data signals up to 1.5GHz. Its rms jitter is less than 0.5ps; an order magnitude lower than the closest competition, ideal for low noise reference clock.

It costs less than 30% of similar bench-top products on the market. Its features include wide frequency range: 2MHz to 1.5GHz, 5-digit frequency resolution, 180ps rise/fall time, wide amplitude range: 100mV to 3V, build-in PRBS or customer data patterns, and touch-screen control interface. SK-1000ULJ is our 1GHz model.
