Moeller's new QwikShip line of enclosed starters is designed to ship in as little as 48 hours, where other manufacturers can often take weeks. QwikShip starters are built-to-order, utilizing pre-engineered modular components that create a wide array of popular motor starter options while still maintaining quick assembly and fast delivery.
QwikShip covers the majority of industrial applications to 250 HP in non-combination, fusible combination and circuit-breaker combination starter types, in both reversing and non-reversing configurations. All starter types offer a choice of durable NEMA 1, 12 or 3R environment rated enclosures. Optional selections for Moeller's QwikShip line include control circuit selection, optional auxiliary contacts, and various pilot device kits.
The modular pilot device kits are pre-built and pre-mounted onto a removable panel with a plastic quick connector.
This method provides a fast and easy installation, allowing for changes in the field that can be accomplished in seconds. The choices of pilot device kits are tailored to commonly used applications with many variations. All pilot device kits are available for NEMA 1, 12 and 3R enclosure ratings.
The control circuits offered include a separate control circuit, a fused control circuit of either one or two fuses, or a control transformer. The control transformer option has many different primary and secondary voltage combinations, in addition to selection of standard 50 VA or a higher capacity of 100 VA.
