Full Bridge Driver operates from -55 to +225°C.

January 5, 2009 - Available in ceramic DIL40 package, Model CHT-FBDR includes 2 independent low-side and high-side driver channels with bootstrap circuit and integrated charge pumps. In typical application, CHT-FBDR can be used to drive 2 inductive loads using 4 external n-channel MOSFETs. All driver outputs can swing from 0-10 V while inputs are driven with 0/5 V logical levels. Floating outputs can overdrive external MOSFET's gates by 10 V above supply voltage, up to max of 60 V.

CISSOID Introduces the Industry's First High Temperature Full Bridge Driver

Mont-Saint-Guibert, Belgium - December 2008. CISSOID, the leader in high temperature semiconductor solutions, announced today the release of the industry's first High Temperature Full Bridge Driver guaranteed for operation between -55°C and +225°C. The product includes two independent low-side and high-side driver channels with a bootstrap circuit and integrated charge pumps associated to the high-side channels.

This first High Temperature driver is the answer to the market requirements for Oil & Gas, Aeronautics, Space and Automotive applications with an extended temperature range. The driver has been developed for an automotive application and can be used in a very large scope of applications like solenoid driver, electrical motor, DC-DC converter and SiC JFET driver. The product, referenced CHT-FBDR, fills a gap in the industry's offering at high temperature.

As a typical application, CHT-FBDR can be used to drive two inductive loads using four external n-channel MOSFETs. All driver outputs can swing from 0 to 10V while their inputs are driven with 0/5V logical levels. The floating outputs can overdrive the external MOSFET's gates by 10V above their supply voltage, up to a maximum of 60V.

This Driver will be used by CISSOID in two high temperature reference designs to be announced soon for power management applications.

The CHT-FBDR is available in Ceramic DIL40 package for sampling and evaluation. Sampling price for this product US$179.74 (133.14 euros).
