LeadQUICK(TM) Home Paint Kit (487924-V) provides visual test for determining compliance with EPA-recommended maximum level of lead (Pb) in paint (1 mg/cm²). Chemical reactions produce visible color change within 22 min if lead compounds, including lead chromate, are present. Using wedged paint chip that measures all paint layers for lead, kit detects lower levels - from 0.05 to 1.2 mg/cm² - within 13 min. Each kit includes 25 tests.
