Two-Sided Cutting Tools suit Swiss-type precision machining.

December 3, 2008 - Double-sided negative insert tool system provides 2 cutting edges, with sharp cutting edge equivalent to positive insert edge, promoting stability as well as chip control from roughing to finishing. PVD-coated grades include PR1005, optimized for wear resistance with titanium and free cutting steel, and PR1025, optimized for fracture toughness when working with stainless steel and general use. Toolholder design facilitates multiple tool-post locations without sub-spindle interference.
