Southborough, MA - Novotechnik's MAP 4000 Series features include programmable input selection and mathematical functions as well as up to four limit switches, and analog outputs. It can perform up to 40 measurements/sec.
The MAP 4000 Series' limit switches are programmable and operate via relays. The multifunctional inputs are also programmable for potentiometers, DC voltage, current/voltage, resistance, and temperature sensors. The scope of measurement range is -99,999 to 999,999, with an accuracy of 0.1%+1 digit of full scale.
Mathematical functions provided are min/max value, tare function, peak value and mathematical operations such as polynomial, 1/x, logarithm, exponential, exponent, square root, and sin x.
Operated either by five buttons on the front panel or remotely via serial interfaces, the MAP 4000 provides isolated RS 232 or RS 485 outputs. There are two programming levels available: a code protected configuration menu and a user menu to prevent end user errors.
