Featuring 0.4 x 0.6 in. body and D frame that lends to operational stability throughout years of operation, custom solenoids benefit space-limited security applications. They meet needs of keyless security devices that require electromechanical device to perform locking/unlocking action. In addition to special windings, plunger designs, and wire lead sizes, customizable design aspects include connectors, return springs, as well as force and stroke requirements.
Small Bicron Solenoids Do Big Jobs in Security Devices
A DEPENDABLE FORCE IN A SMALL PACKAGE is just what was needed to put mechanical energy into a small locking device. With a body size of only 0.4" x 0.6", the solenoid shown was specially designed to require minimum space to satisfy our customer's design requirements. The sturdy "D"- frame gives it maximum stability throughout many years of operation.
Bicron Electronic's solenoid DESIGNS FOR SECURITY APPLICATIONS are rapidly increasing because of advanced requirements in conjunction with keyless locks accessed via keypad, magnetic strip, remote signal, bar code or proximity cards. Keyless security devices ultimately require an electromechanical device (i.e., solenoid) to perform a locking/unlocking action.
Recent Bicron applications include security devices for vending equipment, doors, small cases, toolkits, lockers, and electronic equipment access. More security related photos and design details can be seen on the Bicron web site.
With 40 plus years of design and manufacturing experience and with facilities both local and worldwide, Bicron is in an excellent position to collaborate with your design team to produce an optimum design for your special project.
