Bostech's ChainBuilder ESB 2.0: The Fast and Easy Way to Implement Your Software Just Got Better

COLUMBUS, OHIO -- Bostech Corporation announces the release of ChainBuilder ESB 2.0, the fast and easy way to connect applications and services to create innovative solutions. ChainBuilder ESB is installed in a diverse set of environments, helping enterprises and software vendors enable niche application adapters, composite applications and enterprise-wide infrastructures.

Leveraging a decade of experience building some of the world's leading integration software products, the Bostech team designed ChainBuilder ESB to be the fastest, easiest way for developers in any organization to be successful with software integration. The market acceptance of ChainBuilder ESB's initial release attracted large enterprises and top healthcare, retail and manufacturing focused partners to select ChainBuilder ESB as their preference when connecting strategic infrastructure. Now ChainBuilder ESB 2.0 further simplifies the creation of these high-end, professional integrations -- giving organizations easy access to information like never before.

"ChainBuilder ESB 2.0 pushes our integration offering to the next level of usability and functionality," says David Bourke, CEO Bostech Corporation. "As we have seen, ChainBuilder ESB's scalability allows our customers and partners to build "enterprise-strength" IT platforms and adapters. While robust, these implemented solutions have been assembled and deployed quickly in all settings, including SAAS environment."

Gathering input from the ChainBuilder ESB community, Bostech designed and developed the ChainBuilder ESB 2.0 release with a feature set that introduces many innovations targeted to those creating custom applications, whether for the enterprise or for software vendors.

Advancements for the Enterprise

Enterprise developers know that data integration isn't just about mapping a source field to a target field -- although ChainBuilder ESB can accomplish this as fast as a drag and drop! ChainBuilder ESB 2.0 has opened up the whole translation process to enable powerful custom operations to be performed. More functionality in the mapping process allows developers to easily customize and enhance their enterprise's SOA infrastructure with less external programming.

Enterprise infrastructures also require easy management of consolidated applications, and ChainBuilder ESB delivers. Aventine Renewable Energy has been using ChainBuilder technology across their corporate infrastructure since 2004. Aventine further advanced their architecture by building a composite application using new ChainBuilder ESB 2.0 functionality. "The new plug-in framework was a great choice for our Terminal Management System," says David Weibring, Director of IT, Aventine Renewable Energy. "It was the ideal development platform -- flexible yet sophisticated. The new interface allows the helpdesk personnel to monitor each plant's processes at a business level and provides them the ability to more easily troubleshoot those processes. The combination of superior product and supporting services makes Bostech our preferred vendor for all infrastructure integration."

Advancements for Software Vendors

Software Vendors often use ChainBuilder as the fast and easy way to integrate their own solution with their customer's existing systems. Now, with ChainBuilder ESB 2.0, Bostech provides partners with additional capabilities to easily rebrand ChainBuilder ESB with their logos and other characteristics to create the ideal custom solution. Bostech's goal is to provide easy-to-implement options for our partners to quickly construct professional solutions for their clients.

"ChainBuilder ESB allows us to more rapidly integrate our software with our customer's existing systems" says Ron Mouw, Vice President of Business Development for the leading provider of product configuration software, Configure One. "The ChainBuilder 2.0 release adds critical functionality that will get our customers up and running more quickly, and quick deployments promote early and strong customer loyalty - a market differentiator for Configure One."

With ChainBuilder ESB 2.0, Software Vendors are also able to deploy to a wider variety of operating systems as found at different client sites. Bostech expanded the supported deployment platforms in the ChainBuilder ESB 2.0 release from the original Windows and Linux offerings to multiple Unix platforms including AIX, HP-UX and Solaris x86.

"The most interesting part of the release to me is the potential it offers Bostech's partners," says Jeff Bardash, Vice President, Sales and Strategic Alliances, Bostech Corporation. "ChainBuilder ESB 2.0 gives partner organizations the opportunity to creatively leverage existing systems and deliver truly innovative solutions."

Over the next few months, a limited number of organizations will be accepted into Bostech Enterprise & Partner Program to support new solutions driven by ChainBuilder ESB 2.0. The program gives members access to developer tools and software, technical support, and favorable royalties for ChainBuilder ESB 2.0 driven solutions created and in production within the next 6 months. The program will initially be available in the U.S. and will expand to other countries in the coming months. Bostech is accepting applications beginning today from innovative organizations who would like to join the Enterprise & Partner Program. Include your company contact information with a description of your anticipated ChainBuilder ESB solution, and submit to partner@bostechcorp.com.
